Seven years ago, Cat Power released The Covers Record, where Chan covered artists such as The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan. Just recently, she announced the details to, finally, the sequel to that covers album, appropriately titled Covers Record 2. Imagine that.
Anyway, Chan will be touring for a little bit (although no real details were released about taht) and then the new covers album will be coming out in January or so. So far, she has about 24 covers recorded, so we'll see where she goes from here.
