Ahhhh, the first post of December. You guys all know what December means - End of the Year lists and Christmas-themed posts and songs. It's always fun to do both. I have my End of the Year list all ready and will be revealing it slowly over the next couple of weeks (meaning revealing different lists, ending with the Best Albums list) and as always, will have the lists for you by a few other of HSB's favorite bands. Keeping the tradition alive!
As for Christmas-themed posts and songs though, I'm kicking off December with photos our trepid photographer Akmal took at the Aimee Mann Christmas show at the El Rey last Friday, the 30th. Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie was supposed to show up and play as well, but something happened and he didn't make his appearance. Nonethless, even though Aimee Mann isn't really something I listen to and isn't really the typical kind of HSB music I post, hey it's Christmas! Be jolly, enjoy the pictures, and enjoy a Christmas song.
