This is possibly one of the best tours to hit the road in the next few months: Black Moth Super Rainbow and School of Seven Bells will be touring together in May and June through out most of the Midwest and West Coast, including a May 29th date in Los Angeles at the Troubadour. School of Seven Bells's album Alpinisms was my second favorite album of 2008 and although I've actually never posted about Black Moth Super Rainbow on here before, I am a huge fan and recently wrote about Tobacoo, the solo project for BMSR's frontman. While I wouldn't have initially paired together the two acts, they are almost perfect for a tour - similar enough to tour together (hypnotic, beautiful music electronic-influenced music), and yet different enough for fans of each act to discover and love the other. Expect me to be there on the 29th.
