Salem, who readers of HSB will recognize as one of my favorite new acts out there right now, released a new mixtape last week curated especially for weirdo-shit-you'll-still-like blog juggernaut 20 Jazz Funk Greats.
As expected, the mixtape is full of stuff that you (and I) mostly haven't heard of, including mixed media artists AIDS-3D (who make music as well, that sound much like Salem with slightly less opiates) and lo-fi hip hop anthem "Juke That Girl," apparently another song in a long line of dance-based regional hip hop songs (see: jerking, stanky leg, booty dew, etc.).
This will do until we finally have new material from the mysterious Salem.
