HSB photographer Akmal Naim attended the Deerhoof and Autolux show this past Friday, June 1st at the Natural History Museum for their First Friday series. Here are a few of the photos below - you can see higher quality versions of these pictures as well as the rest of the pictures from the show at the Flickr sets. The LA underground celebrities were out in full force - Karen O (who stealthily snuck into the line to get into the room where the bands were playing thanks to a couple adoring fans), Busdriver (who went on stage for Deerhoof's encore), Har Mar Superstar, Vincent Gallo and Dennis Hopper, among others. The band was playing in the North American Mammals Room as in all of the other First Friday events, as you can tell in a couple of the pictures below.
