San Francisco electro act Luxxury recently released their remix album, Sweet And Vicious: The Remixes (the title makes sense, eh?). Remix albums are generally pretty hit or miss: Stars was a miss, Bloc Party was a hit, Death From Above 1979 was a big miss, etc. This one falls somewhere in-between - I won't lie and say this is an amazing remix album, but it's solid and is a good addition to the iTunes library. I know a couple of the songs will definitely be on the playlist for the next party I throw. The remixes range from the dancefloor bangers, "Sweet and Vicious (All Night Dance Party's More Vicious Than Sweet Remix)," to the songs you listen to while bobbing your head and sipping a martini in a lounge, "Drunk (Lovesick Vocoders at Night Remix)."
