HSB photographer Akmal Naim attended a Arthur & Yu and Under Byen show Thursday, June 28th at the El Rey Theatre. The Album Leaf played as well but pending how the pictures turn out (bad lighting), I may or may not put those up later. Here are a few of the photos of the other two bands - you can see higher quality versions of these pictures as well as the rest of the pictures from the show at the Flickr sets.
Arthur & Yu were featured here on HSB a couple of weeks ago as a Featured Artist because I was so impressed by their debut album In Camera, which came out on Hardly Art Records on June 12th. Under Byen was an act that I had become familiar with at the beginning of this year and whose performance I quite enjoyed at SXSW.
