For those of you in the LA area, Nico Vega will be playing at Spaceland next Monday, August 6th, opening for Low vs. Diamond's residency which means two things - great music and a FREE show. Nico Vega is an LA indie-rock acted fronted by Aja Volkman, whose soulful voice and stunning looks will be taking this band far. My label, IAMSOUND Records, released/will be releasing (on digital singles, there's never really that firm of an actual release date) the single "Cocaine Cooked The Brain," featuring a hot b-side remix by Guns N Bombs. We just shot a video for the remix this week and will be having it sometime in the next couple weeks or so, be on the lookout for that. The video was directed by Demon Babies, the guy who directed the video for the Flosstradamus remix of "Yea Yeah" by Matt & Kim.
Anyhow, I will be at the show as well as my coworkers and many friends, so come out. It's going to be a lot of fun and it'll be FREE, so you don't have many excuses not to come. However, the show IS 21+, so apologies to all the minors.
