Hate Something Beautiful is a music site based out of Los Angeles that has been around since December 2004, mainly the work of myself (Paul Tao), with the help of some very talented photographers and writers. I cover music that we enjoy, and try not to stick to any one genre. We've got some folk, some electro, some indie pop, some psychedelica, and just about everything in between. I've even been known to post an occasional Justin Timberlake song. If it's on the site, it's because the HSB staff like it, not because some publicist shoved it down our throats.
To be honest, in the beginning, I posted about a lot of bands who I thought were good but weren't GREAT, because I felt pressured to post constantly in order to keep up with blog brethren, but now I've realized that it's quality, not quantity. I don't post as often as I used to but you should know that I thoroughly enjoy each artist that I post about.
